Smart Home control from the big screen

For years operators have been looking for ways to propose Smart Home services without adding another layer of complexity to their subscribers’ home networks. Now Android TV set-top-boxes are more powerful, have fluid graphic capabilities, efficient voice control, and an embedded home assistant, it will be interesting to see how new smart home features can be integrated into these platforms and how they will impact the TV experience.

In this video, we present a simple implementation of smart home use cases based on sensors, notifications, and interaction with the TV content itself.
